It’s easy to remember Mara Wilson as that adorable little kid who starred in Matilda, as well as in Mrs. Doubtfire, back in the 90s. Indeed, at such a young age, the pint-sized Mara showed so much promise as an actress that she even had the admiration of popular actors who she worked with like the late Robin Williams. It was surprising, therefore, that she went into retirement from acting as a teen, preferring to focus on school and later, attend college classes. Somewhere along the way, she discovered a talent for writing and started publishing essays and later, a memoir.
