Kirk Cameron — Evangelist Pastor
Kirk Cameron was one of the biggest teen stars of the 80s, playing the beloved character of Mike Seaver in the equally beloved sitcom, Growing Pains. Unlike most of his peers, however, Kirk never developed problems like drug addiction or alcoholism, despite becoming a star at such a young age. This is because he was very well-grounded in his faith as an active Christian. He was so inclined, in fact, that he soon left show business at the height of his fame to become a pastor. It’s unclear if he ever went to Christian colleges, but today, he is one of the most influential evangelists in the United States.
