Alex Cord was stricken with polio when he was 12, but with horseback riding he fought this disease and became healthy again. This is where his love for horses started but his life took a different turn when he got into Hollywood and began a successful career.
With TV shows like Airwolf, Laramie, Naked City and Route 66, he gave some of his remarkable performances, but eventually, his former passion won over his craze for acting and he retired from his career to settle down in Fort Worth where he makes appearances in western film festivals to share his similar interests with the locals.
