Leonardo DiCaprio: ~ $1.75 Million, Belize
Filming the 2000 movie The Beach on a Thai Island must have given Leonardo DiCaprio a taste for surf-side isolation. In the mid-2000s, he purchased an island of his very own, off the coast of Belize. The 104-acre strip of sand is unpopulated, but not for long; in late 2016, Leo announced plans to develop some luxury real estate on the island, which is called Blackadore Caye. The 36 bungalows on the island will have an Eco-friendly twist — they’ll all be built with fully sustainable methods and materials, and a good portion of Blackadore’s land will be maintained as a wildlife preserve.
