Marge Champion – 99 years old
Marge Champion’s Hollywood career started when Walt Disney Studios hired her as a dance model for its animated movies. It wasn’t long, however, before she was on the big screen herself as an actress and dancer. For many years, she was one-half of a dance team that comprised of her and her second husband, Gower Champion. Together, they would star in musicals like Show Boat, Mr. Music, Three for the Show, and more, as well as their own TV series, The Marge and Gower Champion Show. They divorced in 1973 but Marge would marry once more, this time walking down the aisle with director Boris Sagal, who died in 1981. Now 99, Marge has been largely out of the spotlight. She did, however, become the subject of a short film in 2001 about dancers in senior care at age 90.
