The ‘first American American TV darling’ is what Bern is called after the entire country fell in love with her character, Thelma, on the hit sitcom Good Times. She also got great opportunities to star in shows like The Cosby Show, The Love Boat and even The Wayans Bros. Bern seems to have settled into retired life ever since, as her last credited acting role was in noted somewhere in 2015-16. Although we catch her on the red carpet from time to time, we wish to see her in movies and TV shows too.
