THEY WERE THE STARS OF YESTERDAY, BUT YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT THEY’RE DOING IN RETIREMENT

Diane Ladd – 85 Years

More than sixty years of electric Hollywood career deserves its very own star on the “Walk of Fame.” Diane Ladd proved that her dramatic blonde hair and gorgeous face are only next to her versatile acting. Ladd’s first acting role was in the Broadway production of “Orpheus Descending” in 1959, followed by a string of films in the 60s, “Something Wild” and “40 Pounds of Trouble” and tv show appearances in “Mr. Fugitive.”

After appearing in various projects, she finally gained recognition in the 1974 film “Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore,” earning her first “Bafta Award for Best Actress.” Ladd’s latest work is the ongoing Hallmark drama series “Chesapeake Shores.”
