THEY WERE THE STARS OF YESTERDAY, BUT YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT THEY’RE DOING IN RETIREMENT

They were the glitterati of the yesteryears, wowing audiences of all ages with their beauty and talent alike. Decades later, we wonder what have become of these once-shining stars. While there are some that are still very much visible in movies to this day, there are others who are now comfortable in retirement. Some can even claim to have just as much drama in their personal lives as the roles that they once played, be it in the guise of divorce or alcoholism. Regardless of where they are now, these stars of yore can all say for certain that they enjoyed their high net worth and success to the fullest.

Piper Laurie, 89 Years Old

Piper Laurie is one of the most celebrated actresses of Hollywood who ruled the big screen for more than three decades. She started her career as a teenager in the movie Louisa, which got her recognized as a young face in the industry and brought her many amazing film roles.

But this actress didn’t want to make it big in films alone, she wanted a taste of theatre and TV as well so she delved in those mediums while continuing her work with big productions. After devoting many years of her life, Piper is still not done with this industry and continues to work effortlessly even at the age of 88!

Robert Wagner – 91 Years

Robert Wagner is undoubtedly one of the most loved actors of all time. Honestly, who didn’t adore his portrayal of Anthony DiNozzo Sr. in the television series ‘NCIS’?
Yet, that wasn’t the actor’s first success in showbiz. The ’70s viewers shall forever remember him for featuring in the TV shows ‘Switch’ and ‘It Takes a Thief.’

Besides acting, Robert has also authored a few books, including ‘Pieces of My Heart,’ which instantly became a bestseller. The ‘Austin Powers’ star’s commitment to his craft is immense. That’s why, even in his nineties, Robert doesn’t wish to take a back seat from his spotlight journey.

Bern Nadette Stanis – 67 years old

The ‘first American American TV darling’ is what Bern is called after the entire country fell in love with her character, Thelma, on the hit sitcom Good Times. She also got great opportunities to star in shows like The Cosby Show, The Love Boat and even The Wayans Bros.

Bern seems to have settled into retired life ever since, as her last credited acting role was in noted somewhere in 2015-16. Although we catch her on the red carpet from time to time, we wish to see her in movies and TV shows too.
