Shelley Long – 70 Years
After five successful seasons of ‘Cheers,’ Shelley Long shocked everyone by announcing that she would be quitting the show. But why would a cast member want to leave a role that gave her two Golden Globe awards? Apparently, she wanted to try her hand at films, but the ’80s show still remains her most successful stint.
In the following years, Shelley did return to the small screen and got nominated for the Emmy Award. It has been four decades since she came to the industry, but the prolific actress doesn’t shy away from experimenting with new roles.
