THEY WERE THE STARS OF YESTERDAY, BUT YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT THEY’RE DOING IN RETIREMENT

They were the glitterati of the yesteryears, wowing audiences of all ages with their beauty and talent alike. Decades later, we wonder what have become of these once-shining stars. While there are some that are still very much visible in movies to this day, there are others who are now comfortable in retirement. Some can even claim to have just as much drama in their personal lives as the roles that they once played, be it in the guise of divorce or alcoholism. Regardless of where they are now, these stars of yore can all say for certain that they enjoyed their high net worth and success to the fullest.

Victoria Principal – 72 Years

Victoria Principal was an adorable little girl of five when she first appeared in a television commercial. Seventeen years later, her debut film ‘The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean’ opposite the handsome Paul Newman got her a ‘Golden Globe’ nomination as the most promising newcomer. Then came the role of the gorgeous Pamela Barnes Ewing in ‘Dallas’ which made her a household name.

In an illustrious career of over five decades, Pamela has become a multi-talented personality with a passion for writing and producing. She has authored four best-sellers on personal well-being, drawing from her experience as a businesswoman of skincare venture ‘Principal Secret.’ Having retired in 2019, she now focuses on philanthropic work.

Bern Nadette Stanis – 67 years old

The ‘first American American TV darling’ is what Bern is called after the entire country fell in love with her character, Thelma, on the hit sitcom Good Times. She also got great opportunities to star in shows like The Cosby Show, The Love Boat and even The Wayans Bros.

Bern seems to have settled into retired life ever since, as her last credited acting role was in noted somewhere in 2015-16. Although we catch her on the red carpet from time to time, we wish to see her in movies and TV shows too.
