Woodstock is now a famous footnote in the history of logistically nightmarish events. On top of everything else that had already gone wrong planning the festival, a torrential downpour seemed hell-bent on dampening the celebratory mood!
Yet for the countless thousands assembled for the weekend filled with uplifting music and vibes, the non-stop rain could only do little to bring them down. So determined were the fans that a resilient mood permeated the crowds as the rainfall continued.
