Such a record number of people gathering without proper arrangements for sufficient basic supplies such as clean water, food, sanitation, and shelter did not go unnoticed by the country. In a surprise turn of events, it turned out to be the government and armed forces that came to the underprepared festival’s aid with food and basic medical aid supplies!
Yet perhaps even more heroically, it was the doctors, nurses, and general physicians from the surrounding region that volunteered their services for free at the event to prevent any contagion from breaking out! It is due to the combined efforts of everyone that there were no dangerous outbreaks at Woodstock.
