TAKE A LOOK INSIDE THE HOUSES & MANSIONS OF YOUR FAVORITE CELEBRITIES

Being a celebrity today means much more than acting or singing. Thanks to a media-obsessed culture, we expect our stars to entertain us 24/7, putting their money towards luxuries like clothes, cars, and especially, luxury real estate. While millions of Americans struggle with monthly home mortgage payments, these celebs sometimes buy and sell properties without ever having settled down in them. From the tasteful to the outrageously tacky, here is our look at some of the most lavish celebrity homes — some of which are even available, in case you qualify for a massive home loan!

David Robinson – $3.92 Million, San Antonio

David Robinson, who is known for his professional basketball skills, owned an 8,175 square feet house that extends over two acres in Shavano Park. Given an Admiral’s Mediterranean-style, the real estate has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, three fireplaces, and a master suite with a hot tub.

Sports have the priority here, to the extent that the residence features a game-room along with volleyball, tennis, and basketball courts. Large windows offer lush views of the greenery that surrounds the property, but if one gets tired of that, they can look at the stunning pool with water fountains that light up at night.

Anderson Cooper – $4.3 Million, Greenwich Village, New York City

Anderson Cooper has made an enormous fortune from his long career in television. The award-winning journalist has an impeccable taste in design if the magnificent mansion he owns is anything to go by.

The property located in the heart of New York is a 19th-century firehouse that Anderson completely overhauled to create this new, chic private residence. Despite the renovation, it still maintains the rustic feel with the old gym, a luxurious bedroom, a rooftop terrace, and a spacious living room capping the beauty of the home.

Ali MacGraw: ~ $4.5 Million, Palm Springs

The star of the classic film Love Story, Ali MacGraw may have moved away from the limelight in the recent years, but back in the 70’s she was in the thick of it with her husband actor Steve McQueen, living in their beautiful love nest in the California desert. The 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house remains largely unchanged from the time that Ali lived here, retaining its original carpets, modern furniture and decor. The 4,493 square foot property has not been lived in for decades and hence was put up on the market for an asking price of $4.6 million.
