Neil Patrick Harris – Married to David Burtka for 5 Years
We have a really cute story of the first time How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris, actually met his husband of 5 years. In 2004, he bumped into his friend Kate, who was being accompanied by actor and chef David Burtka, and NPH thought that they were dating. Kate clarified that Burtka already had a boyfriend. Neil kept an eye on David from then on and when he was single again, the two started dating.
This fun loving couple were secretly engaged before but officially got married in 2004. The two also became dads when they had twins Harper and Gideon via a surrogate mother, and have been busy with child care ever since! David would have more experience in dealing with children, considering that he already has twins from a former relationship.
