Steven Spielberg – Married to Kate Capshaw for 28 Years
Given the fact that filmmaker Steven Spielberg started making movies when he was in his pre-teens, it was only fitting that he met the love of his life while making one of his blockbusters, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Kate Capshaw was a relatively unknown actress then, but Steven saw greatness in her, and probably also had some psychic vision that she would eventually marry him.
Kate was already a divorcee then, with a young daughter (Grey’s Anatomy star Jessica Capshaw), but Steven was still married to actress Amy Irving. The media found out that Capshaw and Spielberg were dating, and all hell broke loose. But, after 28 years of happy togetherness, it doesn’t seem to matter anymore. The Capshaw-Spielberg family is a big one, as the couple have seven children, two of whom were adopted.
