Ellen DeGeneres – Married to Portia De Rossi for 15 Years
Ellen has had to deal with many breakups, even the death of a previous girlfriend and we’re so glad that she finally got together with Australian actress Portia De Rossi (from the TV show Arrested Development), and the two eventually got married. Ellen, who we know as the confident stand-up comedian and TV host of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, was surprisingly shy of telling Portia she loved her and it apparently took her 3 years to do so.
After meeting at a party in 2000, they only moved in together in 2005 and wed 3 years later. We love how the media tried to light fires when there were none, as they kept reporting that Ellen and Portia were heading for a divorce. Even if that was true, this happy couple made it through the rough patch, and they turned 15 this year!
