Ever so often, we hear that our favorite celebrity couple has broken up or called their divorce lawyers to legally call it quits and it just ruins our day. Think Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt or Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Of course, it’s a sad event made even worse when family lawyers are involved and the parents fight for the custody of their children.
And yet, there are plenty of stars who have stayed together for a long time and weathered many storms together. Sure, marriage is a gamble, and there are many times when one feels like loading their U-Haul and moving out, but in the end… love wins! In April 2022, Sarah Palin was excited to announce two things – her run for Congress and her relationship with the former NHL star Ron Duguay. While the well-known republican lost the race to a democrat, her bond with her new love has only deepened in a few months. Her boyfriend has been by her side throughout, offering her support and encouragement.
After going through a painful divorce in 2020 when her 32-year-old marriage to Todd Palin ended, Ron came into her life two years later, offering her solace and companionship. He seems to have brought romance back into her life because Sarah keeps gushing about how handsome Ron is and that she feels safe with him.
