Ever so often, we hear that our favorite celebrity couple has broken up or called their divorce lawyers to legally call it quits and it just ruins our day. Think Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt or Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Of course, it’s a sad event made even worse when family lawyers are involved and the parents fight for the custody of their children.
And yet, there are plenty of stars who have stayed together for a long time and weathered many storms together. Sure, marriage is a gamble, and there are many times when one feels like loading their U-Haul and moving out, but in the end… love wins! That’s why it’s so heartening to hear of long lasting marriages and relationships, which certainly is not the norm in Hollywood.

Kurt Russell – In a relationship with Goldie Hawn for 34 Years
This golden Hollywood golden couple recently celebrated the fact that they have been together now for a whopping 34 years, ever since Valentine’s Day in 1983. Although they knew each other since 1966, having met on the sets of a movie they were doing together, Goldie was then married to Gus Trikonis. After two divorces, the Death Becomes Her actress finally started dating the Soldier star.
Kurt and Goldie have one son, actor Wyatt Russell together, while they also have 3 kids from their previous relationships, so it’s one big mixed family now, even bigger with grandkids involved! When asked why the couple never got married, Goldie says that they probably lasted this long because they did not say their ‘I dos!’ and they don’t want to rock the boat now.
