Christopher Quinten – 65 Years
Rarely do we find actors choosing love over their careers, and Christopher Quinten is one of those ‘80s stars who did so at the peak of his acting journey. In the late ‘70s, the young man landed the plum role of Brian Tilsley on the legendary drama ‘Coronation Street.’
The series had catapulted him to fame, but after a decade of playing the character that brought him fame, he quit the show to marry his beloved and move to another country. Unfortunately, the marriage was short-lived, and so was his popularity. Over the next three decades of his career, he has only managed to make guest appearances in a select few shows, such as ‘Hollyoaks’ and ‘Doctors.’
