While there are some that are still very much visible in movies to this day, there are others who are now comfortable in retirement. Some can even claim to have just as much drama in their personal lives as the roles that they once played, be it in the guise of divorce or alcoholism. Ali MacGraw – 79 years old
There is little doubt that Ali MacGraw is one of Hollywood’s biggest success stories of all time. From her humble beginnings as a production assistant, it wasn’t long before she was soon noticed for her striking looks and cast in film projects that showcased her obvious talent. She most notably starred in classics like The Getaway and Love Story. Unfortunately, her career was derailed due to alcoholism, but she soon discovered yoga, which helped her sober up. At 79, she is still an avid practitioner.
