Virginia Patton — 93 years old
The face of the actress Virginia Patton is very familiar, because one of the few films she starred in It’s a Wonderful Life is still watched today, especially during the Holiday Season. Retirement came early for Patton, because when she got married in 1949 she decided to quit the film industry to concentrate on raising a family. We wonder how more famous the actress could have been if she decided to stay in Hollywood. Perhaps healthcare insurance and pension investments were not something she concerned herself of before she reached her senior age.
