THEY WERE THE STARS OF YESTERDAY, BUT YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT THEY’RE DOING IN RETIREMENT

They were the glitterati of the yesteryears, wowing audiences of all ages with their beauty and talent alike. Decades later, we wonder what have become of these once-shining stars. While there are some that are still very much visible in movies to this day, there are others who are now comfortable in retirement. Some can even claim to have just as much drama in their personal lives as the roles that they once played, be it in the guise of divorce or alcoholism. Regardless of where they are now, these stars of yore can all say for certain that they enjoyed their high net worth and success to the fullest.

Paul Hogan – 80 Years Old

Paul Hogan, the recipient of many high-profile awards, is a comedian, actor, television presenter, and writer who rose to fame in the Golden Age. Despite having performed at various gigs, his most memorable until today remains the one where he portrayed the lead role in Crocodile Dundee.

Do you know yet that Hogan is expected to return to acting and take a role in ‘The Very Excellent Mister Dundee’ soon? We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to binge watch! The star currently resides in a Victorian farmhouse near Santa Barbara, California in a peaceful bliss out of the spotlight.

Suzanne Somers – 73 Years

Playing the part of Chrissy Snow on ‘Three’s Company,’ Suzanne Somers started in Hollywood as an actress and model. Life had so many roles planned out for her that even well into her 70s, she’s still active as ever!

Taking quite the unexpected turn, she has transitioned to being a health spokesperson following her life in the limelight. Authoring a series of books on health topics, including alternative cancer treatments, has made Suzanne open to a lot of scrutinies as well. Yet, she still manages to be as fearless as she was on the stage of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in her late 60s!

Linnea Quigley – 61 Years Old

It might be hard to believe that popular horror movie star Linnea Quigley used to work as an extra in the early 70s. Her career took a turn when she landed her first starring role in the 1978 movie, Fairy Tales.
Almost 140 productions later, the star has gained a cult fandom and continues to act, with a film and TV show that released in 2019. So intense was her rendezvous with the world of horror that she even wrote two books describing her experience in the genre. No wonder the scream queen still commands a net worth of $2 million.
