There are many actors who got a chance to show their potential later in life and Lin Shaye is among those senior movie stars. Starting a career with minor roles in movies like Hester Street, Dumb and Dumber and There’s Something about Mary, this actress became a phenomenal success after her portrayal of Elise Rainier in Insidious.
Shaye has starred in over 100 movies of various categories, but her work in horror flicks has been the most acclaimed and she’s still giving her best to this genre at the age of 76. Clearly, she has no intention of stopping anytime soon!
