Julie Gibson – 105 years old
At 105 years old, Julie Gibson has the distinction of being the oldest performer alive from Hollywood’s famed Golden Age. Her career started in 1937 when she joined the cast of a popular radio program as a singer. She then moved on to small roles in movies like Nice Girl? and The Feminine Touch, which led to starring roles in movies like 1944’s Lucky Cowboy, to name just a few. She would continue to take on acting jobs until her retirement in 1984. Since then, she’s been successfully living away from the spotlight. Widowed since 1981 and with no children, it’s likely that she’s receiving senior care in a senior living facility.
