They were the glitterati of the yesteryears, wowing audiences of all ages with their beauty and talent alike. Decades later, we wonder what have become of these once-shining stars. While there are some that are still very much visible in movies to this day, there are others who are now comfortable in retirement. Some can even claim to have just as much drama in their personal lives as the roles that they once played, be it in the guise of divorce or alcoholism. Regardless of where they are now, these stars of yore can all say for certain that they enjoyed their high net worth and success to the fullest.
Caren Marsh Doll – 102 Years Old
Now a dancer and instructor, Caren Marsh Doll was a renowned actress back in the day. Starting her acting career in the late 1930s, the artist graced our screens until the 1950s. In addition, not many of us know that the artist also featured in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and even today actively appears at conventions, film festivals, and reunions organized in honor of the movie.
Yet, for Caren, her true calling came when she decided to quit acting to pursue a career in dance. Completely fulfilled in her second act, this performer also volunteers as a dance therapy instructor at an activity center, teaching numerous styles to the members.
