THEY WERE THE STARS OF YESTERDAY, BUT YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT THEY’RE DOING IN RETIREMENT

Bobby Sherman – Age 79

Celebrities seldom have an epiphany post-fifties and switch careers that take them entirely away from the spotlight; the ‘60s teen idol Bobby Sherman is an exception. In 2010, he retired from working for over a decade as an emergency medical technician, a new calling the musician had embraced in the late ‘90s. Later he and his wife established a children’s foundation that provides education and music programs to kids in Ghana.

During the ‘70s, Bobby was busy touring for his concerts in filled-out venues. Fans from all age groups grooved to his songs, the 1969 release ‘Little Woman’ being everyone’s favorite. He had also branched out to acting in television shows a few years before bidding adieu to showbiz.
