Kelly McGillis will perhaps forever remain engraved in our hearts as Charlie Blackwood, the role of a flight instructor that the actress played in the action classic ‘Top Gun.’ Besides movies, we’ve seen her light up prominent roles on the stages of ‘Shakespeare’ and Broadway in plays like ‘Twelfth Night,’ ‘Mary Stuart’ and ‘The Sea Gull.’
Some say that “those who cannot do, teach,” but the ‘Witness’ star both practices and teaches perfectly. Now out of the spotlight, Kelly shares her craft and industry by teaching acting at the New York Studio for Stage and Screen in North Carolina.
