Betty Davis has faced many ups and downs in her career; maybe that’s why she retreated from the limelight in the 1980s, offering only radio silence since. That was until 2019 when the icon finally released a new song A Little Bit Hot Tonight and collectively shocked the world! Even though she is 75 years old, her charm and grunginess have not receded even a little bit!
Back in the day, Davis’s songs were regarded as a cult classic by the funk-rock genre fans. To this day, her music features heavily in TV series, and movies, including High Fidelity and Orange Is the New Black.
