Jasper Carrott – 78 Years
Born Robert Norman Davis, he later adopted the stage name Jasper Carrott as a comedian. Even though the world recognizes him for his penchant for making people laugh, he began his professional journey as a singer. In the late 60s, he started a folk club called ‘The Boggery’ and performed as an MC and a folk singer.
A decade later, Jasper began developing anecdotal sketches and enjoyed performing them to a live audience, a passion that still keeps him active at his age. He also turned a fiction author during that time. In 2017, a brief health setback only made him more resolute about giving his all to his craft.
