THEY WERE THE STARS OF YESTERDAY, BUT YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT THEY’RE DOING IN RETIREMENT

Susan Howard Chrane – Born in 1944

Susan Howard, also known to some as Jeri Lynn Mooney, is many things: a writer, an activist, and mainly, an actress. Her talent in acting was quite evident growing up in Marshall, and it was only right she’d pursue a career in that field.

She co-starred in ‘Petrocelli’ and played Donna Culver Krebbs in ‘Dallas’ in the ’70s, but her most notable achievement would be playing the first female Mara in the original ‘Star Trek’ and the only one who has ever spoken. Howard has long left television and is now active in politics, especially as a gun-rights activist.
