Jake Lloyd – Star Wars
Jake Lloyd’s story is a truly tragic one, showing the perils that most child actors face. He was literally plucked out of obscurity to star in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace as Anakin Skywalker.
He soon went into retirement after that. However, the real world was not very kind to young Jake and he soon made headlines for reckless driving, which led to a schizophrenia diagnosis. He’s now in and out of treatment centers for his condition.
