Nobu Matsuhisa – ~$20 million
Japanese Nobu Matsuhisa is the very man behind the popular Nobu chain of restaurants and hotels, which are scattered all over the globe. He co-owns Nobu with actor Robert De Niro, who is the venture’s biggest investor. Nobu and his family also own the Matsuhisa chain of restaurants. He is best known for his distinctive cooking style, which gives traditional Japanese cooking a Peruvian twist. By publishing several cookbooks in line with the Nobu brand, he has since built up a net worth amounting to approximately $20 million.
