Nautica is a clothing brand particularly popular in the 90’s. It was unique in such a way that its products were mostly nautical themed. This included all men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel, as well as fragrances, accessories, and even home items. Until March 2018, its parent company was VF Corporation, which is also the parent company of other notable brands like Jansport, Timberland, and The North Face, among others. However, VF Corporation has since abandoned the brand after failing to help it make a comeback. It was subsequently bought by the Authentic Brands Group (ABG), which also acquired Nine West Holdings this year.
