Ree and Ladd also put a premium on their kids’ education. However, most people would probably find their techniques to be quite unconventional. This is because the Drummond children are not likely to see the inside of a classroom until they are attending college classes. In fact, Ree is a staunch advocate of home schooling and has taken great pains to provide high-quality education for all 4 of her kids. Despite being busy with writing and ranch chores, Ree personally conducts math tutoring and the like. She even has an entire section devoted to home schooling in The Pioneer Woman blog.
