After all, the Drummond family are among the largest and most successful cattle ranchers in the United States. Despite this, Ree and Ladd have made sure that they grew up to be down-to-earth and grounded individuals. They undertook much of the child care for all 4 kids themselves. Not only that, they made sure that they all helped out in their massive working ranch. In fact, the kids grew up doing ranching chores, including getting their hands dirty by cleaning up manure.
