Nate Burleson may be a football commentator for NFL Network’s Good Morning Football and CBS Sports’ The NFL Today now, but once upon a time he played the sports as a wide receiver for the NFL. Before his retirement, Burleson played for the Nevada Wolf Pack, Detroit Lions, and Seattle Seahawks. Burleson got his first big paycheck when he was drafted in the NFL by the Nevada Wolf Pack in 2003. If you are wondering what he did with his big salary, the former wide receiver apparently bought some fake jewelry, and an Escalade, and a portion he gave to his parents to help them pay their bills. Now that is a good son right there, and someone who’s practical enough to spend on cheap accessories over very expensive designer ones, even if he can afford it.
