NBC’s massive 90s hit sitcom Friends remains one of the most successful and highest-rated shows of all time. Even today, it still enjoys quite a huge viewership. It’s not surprising, therefore, that it pretty much made the careers of its stars, including the hilarious Matt LeBlanc whose beloved character, Joey Tribbiani, even got his own spinoff after the show in Joey. Before he achieved the level of success that he enjoyed in friends, however, Matt was a struggling, taking on minor acting jobs to avoid credit card debt and bankruptcy. His first order of business after receiving his first Friends paycheck was quite a modest one—he bought himself a hot meal.
