Drew Barrymore got her start in the acting at a very young age, starring in early 80s hits like Firestarter and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and later on, starring in dozens of movies through the years, many of which are certified blockbusters. Indeed, it can be said that little Drew took to her early acting jobs like a duck to water, but that’s because she pretty much grew up in the industry.
Her grandfather was none other than veteran actor John Barrymore, who starred in some of the biggest movies in the 20s and 30s, such as Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Dinner at Eight, Twentieth Century, and many others.
