Catherine Zeta-Jones – Married to Michael Douglas for 20 Years
Both Catherine Zeta-Jones (from The Mask of Zorro) and her beau Michael Douglas (of Basic Instincts fame) are prominent figures in Hollywood, and have been with each other for so long, that we are not used to seeing one without the other! The duo first met when Antonio Banderas introduced them at a film festival in 1996, and Douglas sat next to Catherine at the dinner table. The two got talking, and the deal was sealed.
Michael though he had offended the Welsh actress when he said that she would be his children’s mother, so he sent her flowers to apologize! That must have worked because they got married in 2000, but not before Catherine had her family lawyer draw up a pre-nuptial agreement. It says that the wife receives $2.8 million for every year she stays married to the husband, and in case he ever cheats, he has to pay the bride $5 million!
