Maggie Gyllenhaal – Married to Peter Sarsgaard for 10 Years
The Dark Knight star Maggie Gyllenhaal, will now have to be forever grateful to her brother, Southpaw actor Jake Gyllenhaal because he’s the reason why she’s with her husband of 10 years. Jake introduced his sister to his co-star from the movie Jarhead, Peter Sarsgaard, and the two hit it off.
Maggie and Peter moved in together and he popped the big question just before they had their first daughter in 2006. They eventually got married three years later, in an intimate wedding that had actress Reese Witherspoon and Jake in attendance. It may have been an unconventional start for Pater and Maggie, but after two kids, very successful careers and a happy home, things look amazing for the couple.
