Earl Simmons, popularly known as DMX, ruled the realm of rapping in the ‘90s and the ‘00s. There was hardly any household in America that didn’t blast its speakers with the hits of the rapper, notably Party Up and Where the Hood At. The inspiration for such strong lyrics came from the life struggles of the musician.
Naturally, when the star passed away of a cardiac arrest, following a long battle with an illness, the world mourned the demise of the musical legend. Various celebrity friends and fans paid their tributes on social media as soon as the news of his passing away broke.
