Prince Philip passed away at the age of 99 on 9th April 2021, though no official reason has come from Buckingham Palace yet. The world is truly mourning the loss of a resilient man. The Prince Consort toughened up, facing hardships early in life. It won’t be wrong to say that His Highness had many extraordinary tales to tell of his time in the Royal Navy and followed shortly by his induction into The Royal Family as a result of marriage to Queen Elizabeth II.
The Duke of Edinburgh leaves the stage to his son, Prince Charles, the Duke of Whales, who is also heir apparent to the British throne.
