Can You Name New York’s True Capital?

Albany; New York; Rochester; Buffalo; 1
Unless you are from New York or a geography buff, it’s easy to mistake the state’s capital. Located along the west bank of the Hudson River, the city is rich in history. Its Capitol building took thirty years to build—and along its steps was where Theodore Roosevelt got his daily exercise by running up and down. Although it was named to honor the future James II of England and Ireland/James VII of Scotland, the area’s first settlers were Dutch. Additionally, a resident of this New York city invented modern toilet paper.
