It may be among the least favorite United States capital cities to live in, but this place is much more than Dennis Rodman’s birthplace. The area was where George Washington won a battle that was considered the “turning point” of the war against the British forces. Another important thing about the country’s history is that the first reading of the Declaration of Independence happened in this city. On top of that, this New Jersey City became the country’s capital briefly in November and December of 1784.
