A Farm Fresh Breakfast
Since the farm that Max Yasgur owned and operated specialized in dairy, it wasn’t uncommon to spot his herd of cattle roaming about in the meadows during Woodstock. The musical event had already been a logistical travesty only made worse by the bad weather and sporadic food shortages, but these friendly bovines truly became a welcome sight!
Pictured here is a group of bemused on-lookers as a group of teens attempt to milk one of the grazing cows for a spot of breakfast. As the most important meal of the day goes, one could do much worse than with a glass of fresh and wholesome milk!
