While the event grounds glittered with sparkling Christmas lights, colorful confetti, everything gorgeous that one can imagine, the area outside was a mess! Things were so intense and uncertain the then-mayor had to declare the city a disaster area! For good and bad reasons, Bethel became really famous at that time!
Given the situation, a lot of parents got worried about their kids, which caused further chaos! Often we miss the dark side of such gigantic festivals because there’s no media coverage of such issues. And ironically enough, the weekend was supposed to be about peace!
