Kathy Bates – 73 Years Old
Kathy Bates was born in 1948 and later found herself in leading roles in movies and, more importantly, portrayed strong women who act against the social milieu. In 1990, she bagged an Academy Award for the best actress in the movie Misery (1990).
Kathy, who earned a degree from the Southern Methodist University, was raised in Memphis but later relocated to New York, where she took on small jobs while chasing a career in acting. This career finally paid off when she won not just an Academy Award but also a Golden Globe award for her roles. The superstar still graces the screen and is adored by so many.
