Jacques Pépin – ~$20 million
To this day, Jacques Pépin remains one of the most respected names in the culinary world. He is best known for being one-half of the popular cooking show, Julia & Jacques Cooking at Home, with the other half being none other than Julia Child. The French-born Jacques started working at Le Pelican, a restaurant owned and operated by his parents. He then furthered his training in Paris and held the illustrious position of being the personal chef of 3 French heads of state in the late 50’s. Now 82 years old, he’s been in retirement for several years now, especially after suffering a stroke back in 2015.
