Thomas Keller – ~$30 million
Thomas Keller is the man behind famed destination restaurants such as The French Laundry, Bouchon, and Rakel, to name a few. His success is not at all a surprise as he was practically born into the culinary industry. His mother managed a restaurant in Palm Beach and it was there that he got his start in the food business. He then moved to Europe to work for some of the best Michelin-starred restaurants, which provided better training than most culinary arts schools. Today, not only has his restaurants and he himself received numerous awards and accolades, he also has several bestselling cookbooks to his credit.
