Nine West
Nine West Holdings is the company that owns popular shoes, bags, and clothing brands Nine West, Anne Klein, and Bandolino. Its roster of brands also include recognizable names like GLO Jeans, Jessica Simpson Jeanswear, Givenchy Jewelry, and Skinny Girl to name just a few.
It was founded in 1970 by Sidney Kimmel and went on to have as many as 6,000 employees on its payroll. In April 2018, they declared bankruptcy after they failed to consolidate debt amounting to a whopping $1 billion. The company has since sold its eponymous brand, as well as Bandolino, to the Authentic Brands Group, which owns Juicy Couture, among others.
